Thank God, huh? No way could I be a part of putting a woman who takes glee from shooting animals in a leadership role. McCain really blew it when he picked Palin. I'm really glad Obama won and I have a lot of excitement to see what the future will bring. (The Humane Society endorsed him and it's the first and only time they've ever endorsed a candidate.)

Yes, and Biden has a great record with animals, too. Both of them have worked for laws that promote the humane treatment of factory animals -- they're brutalized so badly at times (especially chickens) that it's wrenched my heart out. Palin is a very sick woman and I hope she gets psychological help. In every criminal justice class I take it talks about people who enjoy hurting animals as having a pathological disorder. She offered $150 for the left forearm of each wolf hunters would bring in. She even had their puppies shot in the head despite it being against Alaskan law and the voters there voted her down twice. She doesn't give a @%#$! She is cold! Ok, trying not to get worked up now, lol...
