Some Sadness . . . Still

As I bask in the glow of President-elect Obama, I'm also aware of the layers of mess he's inheriting. And I'm trying to be 100% hopeful, really I am. But I can't help myself. Because our middle class are now becoming homeless, our soldiers and their families are hurting both emotionally and financially, and mother earth is all but giving out. Even though we've elected the modern day Joshua, I can't help but wonder how different the state of our country would have been had America not missed the opportunity to vote overwhelmingly for one of the greatest politicians of our generation.
