I've Been Tagged!

Ok, this is actually the first tag I've followed through with in a long long time! Forgive me for not doing the tags sooner, it was Election year! And you know what that means. It means that I'm busy obsessing day to day and minute by minute, about the bowling score of Barack Obama and the cost of Sara Palin's wardrobe. Where was the time for fun and friends during this, the year of the insane and inane politicking throughout the country? It was spent screaming my lungs out every time BHO was up a point in the polls.

So here we go!
1. Link this post to the person who tagged you: Siana
2. Post the rules on your blog (done)
3. List 6 random things about yourself.
4. Tag 6 people at the end of your post.
5. Let each person know they have been tagged and leave a comment on their blog.
6. Let the tagger know when your entry is up.

Random Things:

1. I roll my eyes a lot when I'm sitting in church. I think that politics has no place in Sacrament meeting, Sunday School, or Relief Society. I also believe that God loves gay people and while I personally do not support gay marriage (I'm very supportive of civil unions), I do believe that gay bashing on Sundays (and every other day) should be punishable by law. And that law should be the force feeding of rainbow jello salad.

2. MDs annoy me. 4 out of 5 of them are crazy. Certifiable even. Many of them do have a "God complex" which wouldn't be so annoying except that then people actually believe that Dr. Yellow Teeth can make their 90 year old father with Parkinson's disease run the next Honolulu Marathon. It's not a pretty picture yet MD's lap it up.

3. Bras. They're a mixed bag. I spent years refusing to wear one and then years wearing only one. I once had a water bra that I loved so much I wore it even when the straps dug so hard in my skin from my 60 pound weight gain that I yelled "uncle" at random intervals during the day.

4. I love Debbie Doxey's house. It's huge, it's on right on the beach, and it's just beautiful. I'm not sure how I'll ever afford a home like that but I'm tempted to actually take The Secret's advice and make a materialistic vision board that I feel so guilty about already.

5. I love to bake. I LOVE to bake. Really, I LOVE TO BAKE!!! I'm avoiding it as of late because of my addiction to sugar and carbs and lovely looking pastries. But the holiday season is near and I don't think I can hold out any longer. I feel a banana cream cake with cream cheese frosting comin' on. Help!

6. I'm obsessed with the most self aggrandising blog called "blurbomat" (www.blurbomat.com). I check it like 100 times a day. The guy who writes it is Dooce's husband. The blog cracks me up because it attempts to discuss controversial topics and some of the commenters are so lame. They have such strong opinions on topics they haven't read much about. I love it because it's certain that I'm the smartest one in that blog room and that brings some sort of legitimacy to my stay-at-home wife status. Sad, but oh oh so true.

So there it is. Now:

I tag Lisa (come on, just one more. It won't hurt, I promise!), Patria (of course, did you really think you could hide?), Don (dude, you know you wanna!), Leslie (girlfriend, don't be all mainland snobby now!), Jenny (who hasn't posted in over a month), and Dooce (wouldn't that be hilarious if she actually responded to this?).

girlfriend, i am so unable to think of any random things about myself right now! (that people wouldn't slit their wrists in boredom reading), so i have to wait to be tagged until i "feel" it. yours was great (:
