I know Esperanza Spalding has been the subject of a post before but she's going to be on a rerun of David Letterman tomorrow night and I just love this song and her music!!
She will be a Grammy nominee/winner. You heard it here first.

such fresh jazz with that incredible voice like butter! um, she's like 23! love her style too- i hadn't seen her perform live before. her whole album is good- and crazy cheap on itunes.
ok, the album that song is from completely annoyed me when i bought it awhile back! i'm so not a jazz expert by any stretch of the imagination so it could be genius and i'm just not savvy enough to know. but i did love this one tune, immensely actually, and i think it's grammy worthy definitely.
maybe i'll give the album another go.
